Skepsis to launch debut album ‘Faith In Chaos’ at Midnight

Thursday’s are becoming a more and more popular day on the underground music calendar these days, with so many exciting releases beginning to stack up again for the midnight release ahead of the weekend’s rave action. The most exciting thing from a DJ’s perspective is waking up on a Friday morning knowing that there will be a fresh box of bangers sat waiting for us to explore. This evening we will see the launch of a very special project indeed as the one and only Skepsis returns to CruCast, this time to unveil a long awaited full length project,  taking the title ‘Faith In Chaos’.

Since the first boom of new school bass music, Skepsis has been one of the scene’s leading names, always pushing new sounds but also remaining a humble person who is always willing to engage with his mass fanbase, which of course in turn has only made him more popular. During the lockdown period I spoke to Skepsis as part of the ‘What Do Socially Distanced Raves Actually Look Like’ documentary, in which he first mentioned the idea of putting an album together during the lockdown period, which has finally it seems come to fruition. With the project being in the works for so long, it’s a pretty important moment for the UK bass scene as a whole!

As we are previewing this project, the most exciting thing to see when exploring the official tracklisting is the number of high profile collaborations that have been pulled together, with the likes of Bru-C, Window Kid, Jammz, Scrufizzer & more all supplying original vocal additions, along with Cajama, Kanine and more all getting involved on a production level. The album itself features fifteen spicy originals, all of which drop at midnight, which we are absolutely buzzing for.

Come midnight you will be able to grab the full releaser via the link below, supplied by our friends over at JunoDownload.
