Royal T returns with some sunshine flavour on ‘Tabloids’

There are certain faces and sounds that we are always happy to see the return of here at The 3000 Network, with so many legendary UK producers getting involved with the constantly shifting landscapes of modern electronic dance music. Today, we are going to be taking a look at a brand new release from one of the most widely revered and respected producers to grace the UK. We are of course talking about the one and only Royal-T.

On a production and performance level there really aren’t many boats this trooper hasn’t sailed upon, owning a superb back catalogue, spanning from the more explosive sounds of grime, through to the more experimental flavours of modern UK bass and of course, the beautiful sounds of UKG. Through his work solo and of course his involvement with the TQD super-collective, it’s safe to say that T has put the work in over the years. Therefore to see him returning to releasing with a banger like this brings us nothing but happiness.

The track itself is a perfect summer scorcher,  dripping in a wonderful fusion of old school garage designs and new school production techniques, from the subtle yet powerful moogy basslines below a well scattered selection of drum selections. It’s such a refreshing approach to modern garage, which despite having a lot of body, still allows space for the rhythms to breathe, adding a much more energetic feel overall. It’s a tune for the BBQs, a tune for the summer gatherings and a tune we are super happy to be showcasing for you today.
