The continous expansion of new school bass music around the globe is always something we find fascinating to observe here at The 3000 Network, with the spirit of collaboration and over-seas link ups never seeming stronger. Due to the ever-reaching musical tastes of the fan-bases around the world and constant stream of new UK talent, the UK has always been a hub for electronic music on the global stage. Today, we will diving into an exciting new drop from two of our favourite entities to watch work as a rapidly rising UK producer lands on one of the heavyweight US imprints for a vibrant new single.
Without speaking for too long in riddles, the artist is of course MPH, whose career has done nothing short of explode over the last 18 months. Seemingly stacking a new release every couple of weeks, a string of headline shows in-between and production style that feels like it is always evolving, there is no doubt that MPH should be on the global dance music communities radar by now. So, when you take this explosive level of talent and link it together with the ever-ready team over at Night Bass, in our eyes the finest bass imprint in the US, you know that you are going to be in for somewhat of a sonic treat.
The track itself is a serious sizzler, taking the title ‘Screamer’, which launches MPH’s 2022 production campaign with a smashing sense of energy right from the jump. Leaping from a soothing, pad-driven introduction, intro euphoric breaksy build ups and then launching into a scrumptuous display of enigmatic synth tones and colourful harmonic structure, giving us a really good sense of the MPH sound in full force. This is of course his second official link up with the Night Bass crew, having launched the fabulous ‘Spend The Night’ EP back in June 2021, with this being a very worthy follow up indeed.
