As we have said many times on this site, The 3000 Network is very much and open-genre platform, with our journalists exploring everything between breakbeat and dubstep, from garage to UK funky and everything else that surrounds it in the ether of bass music. Despite our incredibly wide range of genre coverage over the last three years of operation however, one area we rarely find ourselves drifting into is the landscapes of DnB. With the genre being such a Goliath in UK music culture, it’s often difficult to penetrate past the the more mainstream releases without finding ourselves getting sucked down the rabbit hole.
Today however, we are switching it up with an exclusive premiere via the 3000 Blog SoundCloud page as we welcome London & Bristol based producer Magness onto the platform with his brand new belter by the name of ‘Ring The Alarm‘, which sees a fabulous blend take place between new-school bashment flavours and vibrant roller-like synthesis throughout. The introduction could almost be a bashment track and wavy synth stabs allow a catchy patois vocal to toast away, driving us towards a super smooth drop, which is given life by it’s subtle percussive influxes and powerful bass pulses.
The general layout of this one is absolutely perfect for the dance, with the autotune on the lead vocal line giving the track just enough singalong to see the lighters rise before it hits home. We are super excited to be premiering this one and have therefore attached the official link below:
