Bass music has become much more than another UK genre over the past five years. Since the initial bassline boom of 2015, it’s safe to say that the sound has ground immeasurably, seeing all corners of the world getting involved with the wave and so many different producers emerging from across the globe. We’ve seen Russian heavyweights emerge, American titans establish themselves and even peeked at the rapidly rising sounds out of Australia, but today we are visiting somewhere brand new as we move across the sea to Thailand to unveil the latest release from the fabulous Sonic Fortress imprint.
From there, we move into the magic as a wash of hardcore breakbeat manoeuvres are finally unleashed, alongside a moogy, acidic bass line that truly runs riot. For us, being able to fuse those key elements of nostalgic production flavours and modern-day music relevance is one of the biggest task facing producers in 2021. For us, this one definitely hits the nail on the head, giving us something pretty special. It’s definitely a sound we haven’t covered enough here on threethousand.co.uk and we couldn’t wait any longer to share it with you all!
On Friday evening we had the pleasure providing this one with a official premiere over on the 3000 Blog SoundCloud page, a link to which we have attached below for you to enjoy:
