As always here at The 3000 Network, keeping our fantastic readers as up to date with all the latest bass music remains our pride and joy. This journey we find ourselves on takes us far and wide across the dance music spectrum, but today we have come across something very special indeed, to the point where we feel that this may even end up being one of the sounds of the summer, which we don’t say lightly. Following on from a super impressive run of spicy underground releases, it looks like the @SUPERSIZEUK team are back at it again in full force, as they unleash this incredible new project from the one and only Lug.

The Bradford based producer has been a bit of roll of late, formulating his unique approach to 4×4 production and colourful arrangement, but it’s safe to say that this new single ‘Tellin’ Me’ is huge step up!

The track itself, to put it plainly, is masterful. Finding the balance between accessibility, nostalgic bliss and new school applicability is such a difficult trifecta to navigate sonically, but with no exaggeration, we think Lug has ticked every box with today’s feature single. From the colourful, almost deep house-style melodic twists to the pounding bass line below and super smooth drum processing, there really is very little, if anything to criticise about this one. It just exhales summer flavour and colourful vibes with the overall style of arrangement and sound.

We aren’t the only ones to think this as well, with the track receiving a glowing review from Pelikann during one of his recent feedback streams, describing the track as near perfect and saying he had literally no creative feedback for the tune, with it being just that good.

We simply couldn’t resist getting involved and have therefore supplied an official premiere of ‘Telling Me’ on the 3000 Blog SoundCloud, which you can check out via the link below:
