As always here at The 3000 Network, we have been bringing you our best efforts to keep you updated with the latest goings on in and around the world of bass and garage music, two of the UK’s finest dance music exports that have both spent the last few years very much in the underground limelight. The sound has of course spread across the UK and outside it’s boundaries, with the American scene now absolutely bristling with exciting flavour and tidy infrastructure, which has become quite an atractive incentive for UK artists to release their latest weapons internationally.
There is no doubt that the Team over at Night bass have been leading the way in this regard, with AC Slater’s impeccible A&Ring skills being very clear for all to see, with their roster looking stronger than ever and always unleashing exciting new creations. The influx of UK artists to their ranks has been a very exciting thing to watch as well, with the likes of Oppidan, Badger, Taiki Nulight, Bushbaby & more all linking up with the LA imprint in recent years. Today we are taking a look at a very spicy new drop from another UK heavyweight however, as the in-form MPH joins forces with Cecilia for ‘Rush’.
Right from the jump with this one you can hear the energy levels rising as bristling synthesizer drives and gnarly bass textures are rushed to the front amidst a wash of heavily processed drum sweeps and high-octane rhythmic design. This is all alongside Cecilia’s excellent vocal runs which give the track an even more euphoric feel, giving the pair a fantastic opportunity to explore a new sound with immediate impact. This is definitely a weapon we are expecting to see causing major damage across the dancefloors both in the UK and the US, with the overall feel of the track being very dancefloor driven.
