What a year it’s been for the team at Maraki as My Nu Leng and FineArt’s explosive new home label continue to roll out the belters, rolling on from Bushbaby’s extremely well received ‘Force’ EP earlier in the year. Here we see them gathering the full strength of their roster for a four track bonanza as ‘Spaces’ vol.1 takes its place on the release catalogue.
The EP kicks off with label co-founder FineArt flexing his production muscles as he pulls out the official VIP mix of ‘Lighter Crew’, the original of which was extremely well received, collecting serious backing and festival features.
Next up, another summer special from the likes of Skue-K with his absolute behemoth of a bass composition in ‘Loco’. This one has been tearing stages apart up and down the country with his lethal synth movements and vibrant textures, making it one of the most popular drops of 2018.
Up next steps favourite Bushbaby with the immaculate arrangements of ‘Sonder’. This one is a horn driven expanse of sub movement and catchy grooves, designed to turn the big stages to moshes in seconds.
Finally we finish up with ‘Untitled DJ Weapon’, an absolute nuke of a collaboration from label debutantes Zero and Vellum, who have concocted a bag of extreme neuro flavour with this one.
The release has received major backing from the biggest names in the scene and with a line up that potent, is anyone really surprised? This one is available to purchase / stream via all stores now.
