As always here at The 3000 Network, we are constantly on the out for exciting new artists to showcase upon this platform we are blessed to operate. Bass music’s expansion around both the UK and the rest of the world has lead to a fantastic influx of both new artists and established veterans being able to make the step up to the next level, often finding themselves stumbling into the limelight with edits and remixes, which in traditional fashion, make a fantastic impact in the dances in-particular. We are all missing those dances, and that is an understatement, but this afternoon’s feature looks like it could be one we hearing a lot when the doors reopen.
Today we are jumping into the realm of remixes once again as we see a very interesting link up take place. Firstly, we introduce Celavi, a dynamic duo based in North Wales who pride themselves on their abstract approach to band-style composition. Their most recent track ‘Bite’ has been given a bit of a once over by the experienced hands of Joe Easton, unleashing the sounds of dancefloor-ready Bassline onto this experimental original with fantastic results.
The raucousness of this remix is what makes it such an interesting listen to us. There trend in bass music currently is of course to steer away from the more violent synthesizer sounds and into more experimental areas, but this remix in-particular sees Joe Easton let the cannons blaze, as layer upon layer of explosive Bassline energy is set to fire atop a bed of punchy drum combos and lively rhythmic design. Sometimes, we just want to hear something mad, and that’s exactly what we have for you to take in today.
