Hypho launches vibrant new Time Is Now White drop

As far as labels around the UK go, there are a select few that us here at The 3000 Network will always make a point of keeping an eye on, both for their incredible consistency and also the creativity within the imprint’s ethos. Innovation is key in keeping the hype and joy surrounding UK underground music alive and we are very keen to explore those platforms that are pushing the feeling of innovation to the next level, hence today’s outing with us taking a look at the latest collection from the Time Is Now team.

Being part of the extended Shall Not Fade label family, it’s safe to say that Time Is Now have been one of the most impressive labels releasing underground dance music around the UK and worldwide over the last two years, with their catalogue boasting a fabulous selection of unique garage and forward thinking breaks, all fused together with a touch of digital finesse, literally every time. This time around, they have given us a real treat as they head up to Manchester, to welcome the sounds of the one and only Hypho, landing with a collection of four vibrant new tracks, perfect for the late night raving crew.

We open up with a lunge into nostalgic garage themes and colourful drum arrangements as the skippy textures of ‘London Tower Blocks 94’ are lead out to launch the EP, combining a collection of historic, wax-promoting quotes and throwback LFO action to kick off proceedings with a dab of juice. Straight after this, Interplanetary Criminal arrives on remix duty, taking this one to the next level with a much more intense drumset, coupled with sizzling sub-basses to match the high octane approach of the original.

It’s collaboration time next as Logan arrives to unleash an array of skippy yet precise vocal toasts atop ‘None Of Them’, giving this sonic combination a very quick thumbs up from us, before diving into the wavy finale of ‘Get Bun’. This one sends us right back to the Horsepower era as gnarly LFO twitches lead the away atop a bed of broken garage breaks, signing the EP off with a splash.

We can’t get enough of this selection, which you can check out via our friends over at JunoDownload using the link below:
