Fork and Knife is back with yet another standout single, released by a standout label in 1Forty. Right in time for Halloween ‘Real Monsters’ decorates its nerve-wracking soundscape with skippy drums, swelling basslines and nightmarish synths which make for an all-round screamer (excuse the pun).
Laden with switch-ups, tricky percussion and tight production Fork and Knife manages to maintain a lively pace whilst dextrously borrowing from several genres –‘Real Monsters’ with a grime vocal would be just as fitting as hearing it in and amongst a classic dubstep set à la Sukh Knight.
A certified banger which intricately marries several genres in unholy matrimony, be sure to cop/stream Fork and Knife’s latest release via the links provided below and follow 1Forty for some more envelope-pushing bass music!
