As always, here at The 3000 Network we take great pride in watching peoples journeys through their musical careers, with every step upwards being another cause for celebration as the UK bass and garage scenes continue to thrive with a pretty outstanding number of top quality producers and DJs continuing to emerge. Today, we are going to be taking a look at one of the international imprints that has without a doubt championed a tonne of that UK flavour across the water. We are of course talking about Night Bass, AC Slater’s critically acclaimed imprint that continues to impress the world with its fabulous artist scouting and pretty unstoppable catalogue of futuristic dance music flavours.
For their latest drop, they are linking up with one of the most recent superstars to begin properly emerging here in the UK, as Drinks On Me returns for another trip across the pond. The last few months in particular have seen the Drinks On Me stock rise through the roof, through a number of really well received releases and of course a run of well documented live performances. The promo game is on point and his personality really does shine through with the sounds he has been putting together.
This latest helping to the saga takes the title ‘Stop Drinking’ and is a pretty solid overview of the advancement of his sound in general. Through a comination of somewhat unexpected rhythmic direction, combined with the spiceiest of metalic bass structures and grizzly syntheiss, we are introducing to something very original from Drinks On Me, showcasing both his forward thinking production techniques and versatility in their exocution. This a track that will send the ravers into a completely different dimension.
We absolutely love this one, which you can check out for yourselves via the official Night Bass SoundCloud page.
