As we continue to dive further and further into the future of garage music here at 3000 Deep, we are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming back the explosive sounds of both DJ Pencil & The Cut Up Boys, who deliver a scintillating 3-track delight, jam-packed with energetic creations and forward thinking rhythms to really showcase garage music in 2022.

We open up with ‘The Choir’ a fusion of choppy 2-step beats, eerie strings and bubbling organ chords for some really spicy original garage flavour, followed closely by the more stripped back melodic structure and 4×4 drum skips of ‘Gospel’, which focuses primarily on a pulsating moogy bassline. Finally, ‘Shine Bright’ delivers a powerful finale, stuffed to the brim with shimmering vocal processing and dreamy soundscapes to match a hard hitting harmonic combination. Beautiful stuff and a fine addition to the 3000 Deep catalogue.
