As always here at The 3000 Network, we pride ourselves on exploring and showcasing the latest underground bass artists from around the world, giving them a platform to unleash their sound on a wider level. Today, we will be continuing with this theme as we just straight to the point and get to welcoming the sounds of Danny Dennett, who most certainly delivers with this hard-hitting new creation. Being already quite heavily involved on an industry level, exploring the landscape of this artist’s work was quite an interesting one to put together.
Based in Liverpool, Danny has been making quite a name for himself as both a presenter and DJ alongside the production elements, hosting numerous Addicted To Bass mixes and sharing them via his own page for one. His production has also been catching a few few wondering eyes, with a previous release alongside the YosH teaming picking up quite a bit of introductory impact. We have so much time for people and personalities that are able to transcend a single role within the scene, so we can definitely see some bright things ahead for Danny if he carries on along this current path of activity.
On to the track itself, it’s a system sizzler to say the least. Built around more modernised bass themes and rave-inspiring rhythms, ‘Watch What You Say’ combines a potent pack of pulsating synth pings with clean drum designs and a constantly expanding drum arrangement, all glued together with some well-sourced vocal samples, adding a dash of finesse to the tune to inspire the late night crew to carry on for one last boogie down. We are intrigued to see what else Danny Dennett has in the bag for the future.
