Charted – Jakebob

Posted 15/7/19 in

What an exciting 12 months it has been for Jakebob, a grime producer who has gone from strength to strength in recent times, honing his unique production style into a state of near mastery, at least enough for him to be able to produce incredible new 140 music at a daily rate. His incredible work rate has seen him become one of the scenes most favoured producers, gaining DJ support from the biggest names in the business, including Spooky, Slimzee, Kirby T and more.

We have also seen some incredible releases from the Leominster based producer, including one heck of a ‘Bullacake’ refurbishment, countless collaborations with Poppzy English and of course his debut album Titan, which dropped on Thursday, courtesy of Southpoint. With a rapidly rising fan base and near untouchable output, Jakebob is most definitely a name that is leading the way.

We therefore couldn’t be happier to be bringing him in for the latest edition of #Charted, our exclusive threethosuand.co.uk series in which we get our favourite producers and DJ’s to list their most up to date top 10 tracks across the board. You can check out Jakebob’s listing below:

Proc Fiskal – Evil Spirits

Proc Fiskal’s got a wicked style and is definitly one of my top 5 without a doubt.

Esco – Pied Piper  (Prod Ruff Skwad)

Absolute percy beat and this one’s my definitely my favourite vocal of it. RIP Esco.

Lone Ranger – Automatic

Another favourite vocal of a percy riddim. The instrumental’s been flipped by Scrivs and Myself as well.

Todd Edwards – Sunshine Sunrise

Summer banger, cant help but smile to this 1!

D Double E – Frontline

Absolute classical, couldnt make a top ten list without this banger from D Double.

Chemist RNS – Roses

Another huge instrumental, this one got my vocal treatment on “Don’t Call”, which just dropped on my debut album “Titan”.

Jammer x G Man – Lick Off Your Face

Only discovered this tune yesterday but it’s an absolute slapper and due to get rinsed.

Triple S – Pull Up (Drax Remix)

Massive combination from Mojoe x Chemist on the original, but then Drax killed it differently on this remix.

Goldlink – Maniac

Last 3 albums from Goldlink I’ve really enjoyed , this one a big percy off his newest release.

Tubby – Steppa

Again an absolute classic,  heard too many mc’s spit over this one. Glad to be able to spin it in clubs and see the reaction.
