2021 has without a doubt been one of the most testing years for the UK music industry, with events companies, labels, venues, DJ’s and producers all having to find new routes and avenues to survive. Through these testing times, we have seen a tonne of innovation come to the forefront of the scene, with platforms and imprints converting their methods into completely new directions, without once seeming to falter in the quality of sound we as fans have been able to experience.

A Big Thank You from The 3000 Network
A Big Thank You from The 3000 Network

Today, we want to send a quick thank you out to everyone who has been involved in keeping the scene alive and vibrant, from the record labels tirelessly working away despite studio difficulties and a lack of any live feedback, continuously releasing new bangers and finding new ways of keeping us entertained, to the events companies and DJ’s working alongisde the restrictions and difficulties that the last two years has brought to still provide exciting night life and events in general.

As 2022 approaches, we are likely to see more difficulties, more cuts and more adaptations of what we know and love within the UK underground dance music scene, and we are going to be doing our absolute best to be covering as many of these different movements as we possibly can here at The 3000 Network. We take such pride in being able to watch and enjoy the scene from a distance whilst providing updates for our readership and support for the labels and projects at the same time.

We also want to send a massive thank you out to each and every one of you who has been involved with The 3000 Network this year, whether it be through listening to and purchasing the releases from our label outlets in 3000 Bass and 3000 Deep, or just getting involed in sharing articles and supporting the site in general. 2022 is going to be another exciting year for content and we are thrilled to be providing you all with daily coverage exploring the scenes many avenues and unique outlets.

We will be taking a short break over the Christmas period to recharge and make ready for the oncoming storm of 2022, so we hope you all have a fantastic winter break and we shall see you on the other side!
